Who is the ESSA
The English Schools’ Swimming Association (ESSA) is a registered charity for the advancement of physical education of school children through the medium of swimming, life-saving, diving, water polo and synchronised swimming. The ESSA comprises its council, divisions and county organisations.ESSA Child Protection Policy
As an Association, we take our responsibilities for Child Welfare very seriously. If as a swimmer you have any concerns about anything you see or hear, do not hesitate to raise it with your parent/guardian or officers, Team Managers or coaches of the Association.
Likewise, parents should feel free to discuss any concerns they have with either committee members or coaching staff as appropriate.
