South East Division's Interdivisional Championships Team 2022-23

The Inter-Divisional Championships will be held 11th/12th March 2023 [CONFIRMED] and will be held at Alan Higgs Centre (50m), Coventry.
ESSA are looking to enter a team in the 2nd U15 International School Gymnasiade, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil 19-27 August 2023.
Selection for the ESSA team for the Gynasiade will be based around participation in the InterDivisional Championships. A formal selection policy will be issued in due course.

The Division team for this event will be selected based on national rankings.
As Rankings do not provide information on the location of the school swimmers attend, this report will exclude legitimate SE Division swimmers whose Ranked Club is not affiliated to the Swim England's South-East Region.

If you fit into this category you are invited to submit your times to the SE Division Representative for consideration using this link by Friday 16th December (selection may start before this - so the earlier the better!):

If Your ranked club resides in the Swim England SE-Region but your school is outside of the ESSA SE-Division, please contact the relevant division's representative using the contact details on the main ESSA website.

An information sheet is attached for parents, with entry times that swimmers should meet or be close to meeting, and a link to online entry form (you may also click HERE).

This information and online entry form will also be available on the Hertfordshire Schools’ swimming association website www.hertsssa.org.uk shortly.
After a gap of 2 years due to Covid, and this gala not running last year, this is the first opportunity for year's 5 and 6 to compete in a schools’ gala of this level. Thus, I would ask that, even if swimming is not a major sport at your school, you bring this gala to the notice of any club / school team swimmers in the next academic Years 5 and 6.
