GIRLS: Friday 7th October : Venue:  Woodside Leisure Centre, Watford WD25 7HH

Please note that we have had to book two separate venues this time as we could not get two dates in the required window at Watford.

The Girls' event will be at the usual pool in Watford.

Closing Date: Friday 9th September 2022

All events subject to revised conditions that may be introduced to address prevailing Covid related restrictions.
The events are subject to cancellation if restrictions make it impractical to conduct the events safely.

The gala comprises 50m (2 lengths) races in backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle and a 4x25m Individual Medley.
Races will be swum under Swim England Technical Rules and Laws of Swimming.
An information sheet is attached for parents, with entry times that swimmers should meet or be close to meeting, and a link to online entry form (you may also click HERE).

This information and online entry form will also be available on the Hertfordshire Schools’ swimming association website www.hertsssa.org.uk shortly.
After a gap of 2 years due to Covid, and this gala not running last year, this is the first opportunity for year's 5 and 6 to compete in a schools’ gala of this level. Thus, I would ask that, even if swimming is not a major sport at your school, you bring this gala to the notice of any club / school team swimmers in the next academic Years 5 and 6.
