division east large The East Division organises school swimming events across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.

Diane Owen has stood down as Division Representative. 
The East division is seeking a new representative to continue the good work.
Brenda Prescott (MBE) has agreed to caretake the role until a new representative is found

East Secondary School Team Relay Championships 2026 (Herts/Bucks)

The events take place on the following dates:

BOYS & Mixed: Friday 18th September : Venue: Woodside Leisure Centre, Watford WD25 7H
GIRLS: Friday 2nd October : Venue:  Woodside Leisure Centre, Watford WD25 7HH

Time: 7.00/7.30pm - 10.00pm

Closing Date: Friday 4th September 2026

The events are subject to cancellation if restrictions make it impractical to conduct the events safely.

East/South East Primary School Individual Championships 2026

16 September 2025

English Schools’ Swimming Association
East/South East Divisions (we would also welcome entries from other local divisions)
Individual Championships for children in school years 5 and 6

Suitable for school team swimmers and club swimmers

Friday 6th November 2026

Warm up 7pm – start 7:30pm

Venue: Woodside Leisure Centre, Horseshoe Lane, Watford WD25 7HHS

The gala comprises 50m (2 lengths) races in backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle and a 4x25m Individual Medley.
Races will be swum under Swim England Technical Rules and Laws of Swimming.
An information sheet is attached for parents, with entry times that swimmers should meet or be close to meeting
