Water Polo at Walsall, May 2007 

To Ripley St Thomas School go the congratulations of the Division for their success in having all three of their Water Polo Teams at Walsall for the Schools’ Team Water Polo Championships for Girls. 
 

The Intermediate team continued their grip on the Championship for a second year with some excellent play against Alleyn’s School from Dulwich.  This was a reversal of the Junior Girls result in which Ripley St Thomas fought Alleyn’s hard before losing their hold on the trophy.  The Senior team met the extremely strong Grantham College team and whilst outplayed found the strength of character to maintain their level of play; not letting the opposition dispirit them.

Congratulations once more on all the hard work you and your coaching staff have put in to produce the teams and thanks to your Headteacher for supporting you throughout the Championship. 

We look forward to seeing the teams at Walsall again next year.
